Seller's on SportsBuy are expected to ship their sold items within 3 business days with the transaction # and proper packaging as described below. Sellers should send all items under $25 with delivery confirmation and all items over $25 with insurance.

SINGLE CARDS: At a minimum, all single cards should be sent in a penny/soft sleeve and a top loader, taped at the top to prevent the card from sliding out. Bubble-mailing envelopes are recommended for extra security so the item will not be damaged in transit.

MULTIPLE SINGLE CARDS: For multiple single cards (up to 10 cards), we strongly recommend the taping of the top loaders together and the use of a bubble-mailing envelope. For multiple single cards (greater than 10), we recommend the use of a small box (i.e. small card storage boxes) with appropriate packing material for the box.

GRADED CARDS: It is fairly common for graded cardholders to break or be scratched during shipping if not properly packaged. Therefore, all graded cards should be placed in graded-size team bags, sealed at the top, or wrapped in a paper-towel or some other type of protective packaging around the holder. The item should then be shipped within a padded envelope or bubble-mailing envelope for extra protection.

WAX BOXES/SETS/DIE-CAST: Ship all items in sturdy boxes and if loosely packed, include proper packing material to secure the item. Packing material like bubble wrap, foam ‘peanuts’ and newspapers are recommended.

AUTOGRAPHS: There are many items that fit into this category. For photos, we recommend shipping the photos in photo top loaders, taped at the top to prevent the signed picture/photo from coming out of the holder. Also permitted is a soft plastic sleeve with a cardboard backing, taped shut to prevent the picture/photo from coming out of the holder. For other, more tangible items, like baseballs, basketballs, pucks, jerseys, etc., the key is to make sure the item(s) are well secured in its box. Packing material like bubble wrap, foam ‘peanuts’ and newspapers are recommended. Signatures can smudge rather easily in transit, so be sure to secure them in the box before closing it up for shipping.
